Engine details: |
I have owned this empty block for about 20 years. It is a 427/435 L89 aluminum head block--casting number 3955270 and casting date of I 8 8. The front pad reads T1125LP and 19S712636. This engine is from a yellow roadster that I believe began life in upstate New York. I purchased this item as a tall block from a small body shop in the town of Green Lake east of Syracuse in approx. 1996. The car still exists, however the owner is convinced that the current BB in the car is the original engine. The engine was in a Chevelle when the body shop owner obtained it. |
